LOCAL RESTAURANT BURGLARIES
Local restaurants in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties have been recently burglarized on multiple occassions by an individual who is stealing an undisclosed amount of cash from the store safes. The individual has been caught on surveillance cameras wearing gloves, dressed in dark clothing to mask his body and a dark shirt resembling a "ninja" to cover his face and carrying a olive green duffle bag. The suspect enters the rear entrance of the Local Restaurants by utilizing a crow bar forcing the door open, only after cutting the phone lines from the exterior. Unoccupied, the masked individual, measuring in height between 5'2 to 5'5 cuts open the business safe, utilizing a yellow dewalt power saw. The suspect is captured on camera utilizing a two way radio to communicate with an unknown party, outside the business.

2012 - WALGREENS BURGLARIES
A Miami-Dade Walgreens Drug Store was most recently burglarized. This was the latest incident in what is believed to be a string of cigarette burglaries at different Walgreens Drug Stores in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties since July of 2012.
The visible subject pictured in the surveillance image is about 250lbs, balding head, and is wearing a peach shirt with black pants. The second subject usually wears a red or blue bandana over his face as a disguise.

6/7/2011 - Aggravated Battery / Robbery / Home Invasion / Grand Theft / False Imprisonment
On the night of Tuesday, June 7, 2011 around 11:30 pm, 80-year old Alexander MacIntyre was tied up with duct tape, punched repeatedly in the face and head, and robbed by four masked men who broke into his upscale Coconut Grove home in the 1800 block of Bayshore Drive. The masked men stole more than $100,000 in jewelry, watches and other valuables. MacIntyre remained tied up all night but somehow managed to make his way downstairs, outside, and into the middle of the street where an early morning jogger and his wife saw MacIntyre bound and immediately helped him.
Miami Police have no suspects at this point.

5/29/2011 - Local Poet Will "Da Real One" Gunned Down
Local poet Willie Lee Bell, Jr., 46, was shot and killed on May 29, 2011 just after 12:30am on the 900 block of NE 125th Street in front of his Literacy Café & Poetry Lounge. According to police, someone drove up and the passenger got out of the car and shot Bell multiple times. The men did not take any of Bell’s possessions, which included cash & jewelry. North Miami Police said that multiple suspects were possibly seen leaving the scene in a dark colored vehicle with a spoiler on the rear, or a light colored car.

Two armed, black males pistol whipped their male victim on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at approximately 01:00 am, in a condominium parking garage located at 7600 Collins Avenue on Miami Beach. The subjects attempted to force their victim into the back seat of their vehicle but the victim resisted and was able to flee on foot. The suspects were able to take the victim’s cash and cell phone. The photos taken from surveillance video indicate that the suspects’ vehicle is a ’01 to ’03, gold/tan, Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

A gunman described as a Haitian black male in his early twenties, approx. 5’6", 160 lbs., ambushed and attempted to kill a storeowner at 1295 NW 103 St., in North Miami, on July 01, 2010 as he opened for business at 07:00 am. The gunman confronted the victim in his place of business as the victim pleaded for his life offering him whatever he wanted. The gunman shot the victim 3 times at point blank range, dragged him away from the storefront by his feet, rifled his pockets, and fled the scene leaving the storeowner for dead in a pool of blood. Authorities were able to retrieve surveillance video of the incident.

The Pollo Tropical restaurant located at 785 NE 163rd Street, North Miami, Florida was burglarized Sunday, April 11, 2010 between two and three am. This was the latest incident in a series of Pollo Tropical burglaries in Miami-Dade County over the past four weeks. Analysis of the evidence shows that one individual enters and cuts alarm contact wires during business hours; a second individual breaks into the compromised, unoccupied restaurant(s) after business hours and steals the content of the on-premises safe.

A white Hispanic male in his early 30`s targeted a young woman at the Blue Martini in Mary Brickell Village and followed her to her condo in the early hours of Sunday, March 28, 2010. Affecting to go to her floor, he jumped her as she entered her unit and forced her to her bedroom where he raped her. The video stills here show him calmly leaving the condo after committing the crime.

Passersby found a Hispanic W/M lying on the sidewalk between 17th and 21st avenues on NW 79th Street next to his bicycle at about 11:30 pm on Friday, March 12, 2010. The vicitim, Special Olympics star Danny Perez, had been shot. Paramedics responded but were unable to save his life.
Danny Perez was never one to let obstacles stand in his way; he was the Miami-Dade County Special Olympics 2008 Inspirational Athlete of the Year, was an accomplished basketball player, power lifter, cyclist, and a high profile community figure. Over 500 people signed the guest book at his memorial service.

408 cable television converter boxes were stolen from a warehouse belonging to Consolidated Cable during the early morning hours of Thursday, March 04, 2010. The warehouse is located at 7205 NW 79th Street in Medley, Florida. These are HD Pace, model number RNG 110 converter boxes that are black in color, have the Comcast logo on the front, and measure 7 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 1 3/4" (please refer to the picture to the right.) Consolidated Cable is a field contractor for Comcast with over 100 employees in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Aspiring model Paula Sladewski, W F, 26 yrs old, and her boyfriend, Kevin Klym, were at Club Space, located at 34 NE 11 Street in Miami, during the early hours of Sunday, January 03, 2010 when they fell into a conspicuous dispute about Ms. Sladewski’s state of sobriety. The club’s staff escorted Mr. Klym off the premises as a result of the disturbance. Ms. Sladewski left Club Space later, unaccompanied, at approximately 07:20 am. She was last seen wearing a short aqua dress and black heels, was 5`7", had blonde hair and blue eyes. Her charred remains were found about 14 hours later in a dumpster in North Miami at the 1400 block of NE 130 Street.

Police are looking for a BM in his late 20`s, 5`7", 160 lbs who is wanted for armed sexual battery and armed robbery. The first incident took place near the 3200 block or Virginia Street in Coconut Grove on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at about 5:20 am. The second incident took place Saturday, 21NOV09, near Mary Street in Coconut Grove, at about 3:30 am.
